The project is aimed at ensuring access to higher education for people from the occupied and frontline territories.
The Dmytro Oleksiyenko Foundation is working to develop a mechanism for the formation of a comprehensive state policy on the future de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories and a new state policy to ensure access to higher education for children from the temporarily occupied and frontline territories.
The goal is to form Ukrainian republican patriotism in Donbas and the Ukrainian South, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
The mission of the project is to form the political identity of the younger generation for the future of a free Ukraine.
"Today, the war closes many opportunities for young people from the frontline and occupied territories. They are either doomed to fall victim to Russian propaganda or deprived of real access to quality Ukrainian higher education.
The new generation of Ukrainians must have a strong Ukrainian political identity and become the voice of an effective democratic political process in our country." - Dmytro Oleksiyenko
The project will provide a special preferential mechanism for these young people to receive high-quality Ukrainian higher education.
The success of the future reintegration of the occupied territories and our country in the future depends on building a competent Ukrainian humanitarian policy today.
In 2023, the project has already held two important roundtables with expert discussions and the formation of new approaches to de-occupation and integration:
"New approaches to the formation of state policy on the Autonomous Republic of Crimea"
"Mechanism for ensuring access to higher education for people from the occupied and frontline territories".
